Quality Hotel Waterfront is Ålesund’s newest conference hotel, situated at the waterfront of the art nouveau-city Ålesund. The hotel has 196 lovely and urban rooms, split between the old jugend house, the pack-house and the modern signature house.
Each of the house’s different styles are reflected in the interior , and together they create a warm and homely atmosphere. One of the hotel’s attraction is the exclusive rooftop suite of 53 square meters with 65 square meters of terrace. The hotel also sports a fitness room for its guests.
The hotel has a stylish restaurant with room for 120 guests and the tasty food can be enjoyed with a fantastic view over Aspevågen. Connected to the restaurant you also find a funky bar, and in the summer months we offer out door dining on the pier. The view towards Sunnmørsalpene and the Borgund Fjord is strikingly beautiful, and the maritime life on Aspevågen is fascinating and alive, year round.
This is a conference hotel with 1000 square meters available for events. We have 7 differently sized meeting rooms and the most modern AV equipment in the market. The plenary hall, Akvariet,m can fit 300 people and is well suited for banquets, receptions, courses, and meetings of all kinds.
Restaurant Aqua

Conference
Quality Hotel Waterfront is a conference hotel with 100 square meters. The hotel has 7 differently sized meeting rooms and a large hall seating 300. The rooms are fitted with the latest in AV equipment.
The venues can be fitted with different lighting and decor for banquest, kick-offs and special receptions. We adapt the rooms for your needs.
Our grand hall, Akvariet, is a total of 280 square meters and has a ceiling height of 2,7m. Daylight is let in from three sides, which when combined with our airconditioning creates an optimal environmenrtfor all types of meetings and events. The hall can fit 300 and is perfect for conferances, banquets, naval naming ceremonies, receptions, and in addition meetings and courses of all kinds.
We know that conferences can be demanding and have naturally taken this into account with our Quality Break. In the break area you can enjoy our break buffet of coffee, tea, iced water, fruits and cakes. Here you will also find our tempting break lunch. If you need a quick energy boost you can find free popcorn and ice-cream available all day.
